Abstract: The notion of sparse hypergraphs was introduced by Brown, Erd\H{o}sand S\’os in the 1970s. Since then, it has received considerable attention andhas been repeatedly studied by various combinatorists. In this talk, I willsurvey important problems and results in this field, and introduce our recentwork.

上官冲，山东大学数学与交叉科学研究中心教授，博士生导师。从事组合数学与信息科学交叉领域的研究，已在相关方向的知名刊物JCTB、JCTA、STOC、IEEE-TIT、SIDMA上发表论文十余篇。
